The first workshop in this series of four classes was designed to articulate the theme of Tikkun Olam (being Acts of Kindness), being one of Solomon Schechter’s core values, through the concept of Love. This was visually explored in an original watercolor painting created for the event.

Kavod (Honour and Respect)

The fourth workshop in this series culminated in the theme of “Kavod (Honour and Respect).” Students created their own interpretations of a watercolor work specifically created for the class.

In this empowering watercolor workshop, gathering women from ages 20 to 85, we explored the themes of love and femininity through the historic form of the hamsa. The program was based on an original painting created for the event.
